Growth Mindset: Daily Habits
My Learning Habits
As humans, we are all creatures of habit and I think we all develop a routine that we typically stick to. But it is important to recognize that we all need to continually learn. A few of my learning habits are:
1. I am always the person that asks an overwhelming amount of questions. I do this for two reasons, first I do it to clarify a situation and then to identify the why behind I am doing something. I find that the more questions I ask the better understanding I have about the process of why I am doing something weather it be in work or school.
2. I find that talking aloud when I do homework helps me think more critically about what I am doing. I do this when I am quizzing myself over information or doing math problems.
3. I have a certain way in which I prioritize things in my planner so that I can be efficient in the way I do things.
4. Lastly, I find having conversations with people on how they study helps me improve my study habits. Or even talking to people about information we maybe learning for a test helps me understand the content better.

Hi Alanna! I noticed your post, and I think there was some misunderstanding in the assignment; did you read the article about learning habits...? That is what it is about: not the daily habits we all have for brushing our teeth, etc. but instead the habits we have (or need to have) for growing and learning new things; here's a link to the article:

And here's the prompt: take a few moments to reflect on your own daily habits AS A LEARNER
Hey Alanna! I love the tips you have in this post. I especially like the idea of talking to other people about their study habits because this is an opportunity to learn a new strategy or method I may have never thought of. I also like the idea of talking out loud when studying or doing homework. I am definitely someone who learns by talking things through so I think this would be a really effective strategy for me to implement in my study routine!
