My Favorite Places In Europe!
In June 2016 I had the opportunity to study abroad in Europe! I visited Italy and France! Here are a few places I really enjoyed.
Capri, Italy
Capri was one of my favorite places that I visited while in Italy. While we were there we went on a boat ride along the Amalfi Coast. During our tour we drove by the Blue Grotto's. The water was unlike any other blue I have ever seen.

Venice, Italy
Although I only visited Venice for less than 24 hours I fell in love with the uniqueness of a city being on water. While we were there we walked around the city and explored. I really enjoyed just walking around instead going to different tourist attractions.

Paris, France
Paris was an absolute dream. My favorite memory was when we were taking a walk late in the evening and I turned the corner to see the Eiffel Tower Sparking as it does on every hour. I stayed outside of the city and really enjoyed feeling more like a local.

What a great summer trip, Alanna! I have been to Italy many times, including Venice... but never to Capri! It seems like a magical place; some day I would really like to go back just to do that! Maybe you will want to do an Italian or French project for this class. Both countries have wonderful storytelling traditions, and so many famous storytellers. You can see what you think about that when you start brainstorming project topics in Week 2!
ReplyDeleteHi again! Beautiful is all I can say. Those pictures are astonishing and really make me want to visit someday. For me traveling has been limited to within in U.S., but I look forward to the day I am able to visit other countries and learn about their vast histories. Italy has always been on my bucket list, with Venice at the top. I love how it is on the water! Once again, great post!
